JOIN this year’s Walk for Water and support us to provide clean, safe water access to communities in Mexico. This years walk takes place at Ormstrup Manor, where Minna and Niels Due Jensen once again open their doors and invite you to take part in a day filled with activities for a good cause.
Bring family, friends and colleagues for a fun and educational day and experience what millions of women and girls have to do every day: Walking 3 to 5 kilometers for clean water. All donations raised will contribute to Water2Life’s project in Mexico.
Afterwards you can relax and enjoy some lunch & refreshments provided by Grundfos (included in the price).

What is the Walk for Water?
Walk for Water is a yearly fundraising event organized by Grundfos colleagues to raise money for a good cause: Providing water access through our employee program called Water2Life.
What programme is planned?
On the day itself you will walk approx. 1.5km with an empty bucket to a water source, fill your bucket with water and carry the full bucket back. We are currently busy planning some fun and informative activities along the route.
What is Water2Life?
Water2Life is an employee-initiated and employee-driven program that works to bring clean water to communities in need on every continent.
What do I need to participate?
Just yourself and good spirit! Buckets for the walk will be provided at the day.
Do I have to be a Grundfos employee to participate?
No. Next to Grundfos colleagues we are inviting the wider community in Bjerringbro, friends and families to the event.
What is the money collected through the Walk4Water used for?
All funds raised are contributing to Water2Life’s project in Mexico – providing clean water access to communities in Chiapas, Mexico.
How much does it cost to participate?
Adults (18 years and older): 100DKK. Youth (5-17 years): 50DKK. Children (4 and younger): Free. (Please note that the sandwich is only included in the Adults and Youth ticket).
What is included in the price?
The price for adults and youth includes the participation fee and a sandwich and refreshments for lunch (provided by Grundfos). Please use the sign-up link to provide information about allergies or food requirements. Kids under 4 are free and don’t need to be signed up.

Can I buy food or beverages during the event?
A small lunch and drink is included in the price. (Please note that the sandwich is only included in the Adults and Youth ticket). Further you will be able to buy warm drinks.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, but please make sure that you keep your dog close and on a leash.
